ASSEMBLY TIME: 9:00 AM PARADE TIME: 9:45 AM We at Dignity Memorial are proud to announce the Veteran’s Day Parade will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. As usual, the parade route will be from 40th and Hancock to 48th and Sandy, with the flag ceremonies and guest speakers at the Ross Veteran’s Memorial. We have made numerous changes from past procedures in an attempt to more efficiently run the staging and actual parade. This is being done as a learning experience and due to the ever increasing size of the parade itself. This is one of the reasons we have launched this website: veteransdaypdx.org. As we get closer to the actual parade date, we will continue to flesh this site out with pertinent information. So check back often as we will use this site to organize our volunteers, post important details about the parade, and ultimately, to honor all those that have served in the military forces of our great nation.
