​If you must drive to the parade, please park at the lot at the Walnut Park Complex, located at 5305 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. 97211-3237.

Portland’s only Veterans Day parade was established in 1974. Vernon E. Ross, proprietor of Ross Hollywood Funeral Chapel, founded the parade to honor all veterans, past and present, living and deceased. Today, the tradition is carried on by Veterans Day Portland, Inc. The Portland Veterans Day Parade is an inclusive, nonpartisan, family-friendly event officially permitted by the City of Portland. For everyone’s safety, we reserve the right to remove anyone at any time who displays behavior in a manner that is not in alignment with the spirit of this event.
